About Troop 10

Welcome to Troop 10 of Johns Creek/Alpharetta, GA and we are glad you will be joining our troop.  Troop 10 of Johns Creek is chartered through St Benedict Catholic Church and is located in the city of Johns Creek/Duluth, GA. We are a member of the Northern Ridge District of the Atlanta Area Council which have been honored with many prestigious awards that can only come from a well organized and active troop.

Our Troop is dedicated to helping young men become future leaders and to foster in their young hearts an enduring love and respect for their God, their families, and their country.

We are an active troop of about 90+ boys in grades 6th through High School. We have patrols for every level of Scouting from First Year Scouts through Eagle Scouts. New members are always welcome and they do not need to be a part of the church to attend this great troop!

Since the beginning Troop 10 has helped 43 Life Scouts earn their Eagle Scout rank and has continued to provide great programs for many future scouts to succeed as they are inducted into the brother hood of Eagle Scout.

Boy Scout Troop in Johns Creek / Alpharetta and Duluth, GA

Troop 10

Troop 10 meets at 7:00 PM every Tuesday in the Parish Life Center of the Church of St. Benedict.   The church chartered this troop in February of 2000, and our leaders try to keep the ‘outing’ in Scouting by offering plenty of activities of all kinds.  We believe in a boy led troop, so we ask our scouts to lead the troop as much as possible.  This includes planning and preparing for campouts and weekly meetings.  As you learn and grow with us, your responsibilities will increase.  Developing self-confidence, self-reliance and leadership are key goals of the Scouting program.

We maintain a full schedule of scouting activities including: camping, hiking, scouting for food, trips, service projects, high adventure trips and much more.

Please look around and consider joining us!

Since it's inception we have consistent earned the Journey to Excellence Unit Award, and with "YOUR HELP" we hope to do it again this year.
